Shelia Nelson-Meredith

Shelia is a wife, a mother of three, and a grandmother of one. She has a love and passion for God, family, fishing, and travel. Her hospice and healthcare services provide invaluable guidance and expertise to Quality in Hospice Consulting clients. Her clients realize measurable improvement in client services, process flow, understanding and compliance with industry regulations. With strategic planning and survey readiness tools, she has successfully assisted in opening many hospices with accreditation. Before starting a consulting firm, Shelia worked in healthcare for 40 years. Her nursing career spans 29 years, with 20 years in the hospice industry. While working in hospice, Shelia held positions as a field nurse, case manager, director of clinical services, alternate administrator, regional quality assessment performance improvement manager, and Senior Vice President of Compliance and Quality. After a successful career of helping thousands experience the benefit of quality hospice care, and opening several new hospice programs, Shelia now reaches agencies across the nation to ensure that they do the same.
